Expertise: Indo-Pacific Security, Energy Security, Great Power Competition

Tyler Matos is a senior at George Washington University studying International Affairs with a concentration in International Politics. His research interests include great power competition within the Indo-Pacific, along with international energy security and regulations. Previously, Tyler was a Boren Scholar studying Indonesian in country and a Center for Strategic and International Studies Policy Fellowship Fellow. Tyler also served 5 years within the U.S. Navy as a Hospital Corpsman. He speaks English, Spanish, Indonesian, and recently began Mandarin studies.
