Expertise: Ocean security, IUU fishing, green energy geopolitics, and environmental conflict
Samuel Naujokas (he/him) is an M.A. in International Environmental Policy candidate at the Middlebury Institute of International Studies in Monterey, CA. Within this program, he is pursuing a specialization in Ocean and Coastal Resource Management.
Previously, he has interned for World Wildlife Fund, the Stimson Center, and other leading environmental policy NGOs. Samuel’s research focuses on the interactions between ocean resource management and global security risks.
Samuel is originally from Healdsburg, CA and worked for the Ketchikan Indian Community in Alaska before beginning his graduate studies.
