The Weather Channel Presents “The Climate 25” Featuring ASP’s Gov. Whitman, BGen. Cheney
On June 10th the Weather Channel will launch “The Climate 25.” According to its press release Climate 25 will bring together influential leaders of Fortune 100 companies, conservative political leaders, military leaders, and others to discuss their views of the challenges climate change, security, energy and peace. The goal of this project is to show a multi-faceted view of climate change from individuals from diverse backgrounds.
A number of ASP’s friends and associates were interviewed as a part of this project, including ASP’s Chairperson, Governor Christine Todd Whitman, ASP’s CEO Brigadier General Stephen Cheney, USMC (Ret.), and ASP friends Rear Admiral David Titley, USN (Ret.), Cleo Paskal, and General Muniruzziman.
In its introductory video, Climate 25 shows a range of leaders speaking about the global risks associated with climate change, including former US Treasury Secretary Henry Paulson, Retired Army General Charles Jacoby, New York Times Journalist Thomas Friedman, and the CEO of Unilever Paul Polman. The whole website, climate25.com goes live on June 10.
