AI Imperative 2030 Fellow
Camille Eveno is pursuing a Master of Public Policy and Leadership at the Frank Batten School of Public Policy at the University of Virginia. She previously graduated from Sciences Po Lyon, France, with a Master’s in International Relations and a Bachelor’s in Political Science. Her master’s thesis focused on U.S. National and International Security Policies After 9/11.
Her academic background combines European and U.S. perspectives on international security, with a focus on applied policy analysis. At Batten, she recently completed a semester-long project on the feasibility and ethical implications of using AI in military operations, resulting in a strategic assessment and policy recommendations.
This year, she will be working on her Applied Policy Project with the AI imperative 2030, examining the growing concentration of the AI industry among major companies as well as open-source AI development. Her research will assess the national security risks and policy tradeoffs associated with different approaches to AI innovation and develop evidence-based policy recommendations.
