But more recently, we have seen the internet used as a tool of division, propaganda, and misinformation. Today’s reality demands that we refocus the power of the internet into a tool for bridging divides, rather than creating chasms. We must think of new and innovative ways to harness the reach of internet-based tools to create cooperation and understanding. One option: the sharing economy.
