On Friday, June 7th, ASP COO Andrew Holland was cited in an article from The Oklahoman discussing U.S. tariffs on Mexico. Holland discussed how approving the United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement (USMCA) would help the border crisis by “encouraging job growth on both sides of the border.”

Holland explained:

“People with jobs do not join drug-trafficking gangs. At its heart, this crisis is not a security crisis … so the solution will not be found in walls or expansion of the Border Patrol. Congress must prioritize USMCA, passing it in a bipartisan fashion as part of a solution to the border crisis. Tariffs will only get in the way.”
