Expertise: Climate Security, Energy Security

Sari Klein is a rising senior at Boston University, where she has developed an independent major in Political Ecology. Through her coursework she examines the complex relationships that link environmental concerns with social, political, and economic institutions.

This past semester she participated in Boston University’s Climate Change Directed Study Program. Through this program she worked closely with the Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection to research methods of cumulative impact. Additionally, has interned with the Arava Institute, an internationally focused environmental education center.
