Patrick Hines is currently a Doctor of Musical Arts Candidate at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where he is also pursuing a doctoral minor in International Relations. Hailing from Cincinnati, Ohio, Patrick earned his Bachelor’s degree in music from Temple University and his Master’s degree in music from Yale University. From 2012 – 2017, he lived in Guiyang, China, where he was a member of the Guiyang Symphony Orchestra. Patrick has also performed in musical venues across the United States, Puerto Rico, Italy, England, and Austria, among other countries. When not playing the French horn, Patrick enjoys studying Japanese and Spanish and reading about international affairs.
