Madeline Flamik is an undergraduate student at the State University of New York College at Geneseo. She is pursuing a BA in International Relations, with minors in Environmental Studies and French. Her studies concentrate on the Developing World. She is graduating in December 2018.
Last summer, Madeline participated in a culturally immersive program in Dakar, Senegal, where she attended classes at the Western African Research Center while conducting field research. She studied the involvement of Senegalese activist groups in transitions of power and presented her findings at the 2018 National Conferences on Undergraduate Research at the University of Central Oklahoma.
Madeline has interned for U.S. Senator Charles Schumer and for New York State Governor Andrew Cuomo. She has also worked for the Broome County Board of Elections.
