Background: Kathy Duong, originally from Los Angeles, CA, is currently a graduate student at American University- School of International Service (SIS) studying Global Governance, Politics and Security. Her concentration is on National Security with an emphasis on technology. She graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science with a minor in Law and Society from University of California, San Diego.

Kathy is the social media correspondent for the Global Politics Student Association (GPSA), a student organization for American University’s graduate program. She is also a community host for a member of the Humphrey Fellowship Program at AU Washington College of Law.
