Expertise: Nuclear Security, US-Russia Relations, Arms Control, Turkey’s Nuclear Program

Gevorg Novshadyan is a graduate of the MIIS/MGIMO dual degree Masters program in Nonproliferation and Terrorism Studies and International Affairs. He earned his undergraduate degree from UC Irvine, where he conducted research on NATO-Russia relations. He has studied abroad in Russia and received training in physical security infrastructure at the Czech Technical University’s VR-1 research reactor.

Born and raised in Los Angeles, CA, he is a big fan of the Lakers, Dodgers, and Rams. His other interests include chess, history, Netflix documentaries, EDM, and the outdoors.
