Brigadier General Robert John Felderman, USA (Ret) retired in 2010 after a 35+ year career for the U.S. Army. His final assignment was as the Deputy Director of Strategy, Policy and Plans (J5) of North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD) and U.S. Northern Command from 2005-2010. General Felderman’s military assignments included commanding at brigade, battalion, and company level; special staff officer at all levels (expertise in homeland security, personnel, administration, safety, intelligence, operations, maintenance, aviation, infantry, armor, cavalry, medical service, contingency operations, pandemic influenza, unmanned aerial systems, nuclear weapons, missile defense, and other national defense areas).

General Felderman is an internationally recognized speaker and subject matter expert on wide range of subjects, including Missile Defense and Combatant Command Operations, Homeland Defense, Joint Task Forces, Aerospace Defense, Contingency Operations and Effects Based Operations and Approaches, and Public Diplomacy. He has been published in numerous local, state, and national publications.
