Expertise: Climate Change, Environmental Policy, Domestic Economic Policy, Human Rights Studies

Cara Capoccitti is currently pursuing a B.A. in Political Science and Economics at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, MI. Her academic interests lie in exploring the many uniquely American economic policies that separate the United States from other developed nations and how these policies will be affected by shifting climate change concerns. Working in Detroit last summer, Cara has also developed an interest in studying economic inequality and the consequent effects on the human rights of people of certain socio-economic status.
