Brigadier General Allyson Solomon is a retired general officer who served nearly 36 years in the National Guard. In her position prior to retirement, she served as Assistant Adjutant General for Air, Maryland Air National Guard. Since 2015, she has served as President of the National Guard Youth Foundation whose mission is to support at-risk youth through the National Guard Youth Challenge Program which provides them with the values, life skills, education, and self-discipline necessary to succeed in life. She also serves as a Director for Armed Forces Benefits Association, Women in Military Service for America Memorial, and fellow with The American College of National Security Leaders. Allyson previously served as a member of the Defense Advisory Committee for Women in the Services.
