ASP Statement on Chuck Hagel
Statement by ASP CEO BGen Stephen A. Cheney USMC (Ret):
On behalf of the Board of Directors of the American Security Project, I congratulate one of our founding fathers and now former board member Chuck Hagel upon his confirmation as Secretary of Defense. Through the years Secretary Hagel has given us the leadership and advice to make the American Security Project the fine institution it is today – one of the few think tanks that is non-partisan and whose only aim is to make America more secure. We will carry on his tradition of education and excellence, and know that with his strong leadership our Defense Department is in good hands.
