Perspective – Implications of the Afghan Peace Negotiations on Terrorism in Central Asia

This paper examines the relationship between six primary terrorist organizations in Central Asia. As the US and the Taliban continue to meet in an effort to negotiate peace, the connections between terrorist organizations must be re-examined. Since the strong connections have allowed the groups to expand across Central Asia and develop deep networks, the peace talks have implications for the entire region.
