ASP in the News: Director of Strategic Communications Annie Aleman on Stacy On The Right
Annie Aleman, Director of Strategic Communications at ASP, was on Stacy On The Right to discuss a variety of issues, including the JCPOA, Russian cyberattacks, and American competitiveness
Aleman highlighted the importance of having an Iranian nuclear deal to prevent the worst-case scenario: a nuclear Iran. On Russian cyberwarfare, she argued for generating a situation with Moscow based on a Mutually Assured Destruction (MAD) in order to limit attacks. Aleman finally finished by emphasizing the need to strengthen domestic supply-chains to boost American competitiveness.
“At the end of the day, what we want more than anything is to have Iran in a deal with the United States. Having an Iran with nuclear weapons in the Middle East, where we are seeing on-going instability exacerbated by climate change, it’s a dangerous situation for the United States and the rest of the world.”
