National Security Strategy Intern 

Expertise: AI Policy, Cybersecurity, U.S. Strategic Competition, Emerging Technology and Security Risks 

Samuel Dumesh is currently pursuing a master’s degree at Columbia University’s School of International and Public Affairs (SIPA), specializing in international economics and security policy. 

He focuses on the intersection of artificial intelligence and national security, analyzing emerging security, and strategic competition in tech ecosystems, particularly in the context of U.S.-China relations.  His work aims to inform policy development and strategic decision-making in the context of evolving technological threats. 

Samuel holds a bachelor’s degree in International Economics from the University of British Columbia and has experience in risk consulting, impact investing, and economic policy research.
