Expertise: Climate Change, Sustainability, Environmental Ethics, Ecofeminism, Alternative Energy

Rachel Hagen is an undergraduate senior at Southern New Hampshire University studying Environmental Science with a concentration in Compliance and Sustainability.

Prior to joining ASP, Rachel participated in an intensive 2-week research expedition to Honduras sponsored by her university. There, Rachel participated in ongoing research projects alongside scientists in the field. This included terrestrial ecology research in the cloud forest of Cusuco National Park and coral reef biology on the Caribbean island of Roatan. Rachel has participated in several other university lead expeditions to Arizona, Washington, Oregon, and Idaho. In addition to her field experience, Rachel has drafted a research proposal to investigate the potential consequences of eco-tourism on American National Parks. Her research focuses on human environmental impact and its implications on ecology and humanity.
