Adjunct Junior Fellow

Shubha was born and raised in New Jersey (which she will defend ‘til her dying day). She attended Boston University, where she received her B.A. in International Relations and a minor in History. She then got her Master’s in Global Affairs from New York University, concentrating on Energy and the Environment.

Shubha wrote her Master’s thesis on the security impacts of rapid urbanization, climate change, and sustainability. She presented a portion of her thesis at the 17th Annual International Sustainable Development Research Conference held at Columbia University in May 2011. She hopes to continue working in the realm of energy and climate security.

Shubha is a rabid sports fan, music lover, and suffers from perpetual wanderlust.
