Expertise: Homeland Security Policy, Nuclear Security, Countering Violent Extremism

kevinlalamaKevin was a Policy Researcher and Intern for ASP focusing on nuclear security. Originally from Morristown, New Jersey, Kevin received his B.A. in Criminology & Criminal Justice at the University of Maryland, with minors in Global Terrorism and Geographic Information Science. He intends to focus on homeland security policy and pursue a career with the federal government.

During his time at the University, Kevin interned with Homeland Security Investigations, U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services, the Supreme Court of the United States Police Department, and the University of Maryland Department of Public Safety. He remained active on campus through his involvement with the University Student Judiciary, Federal Semester Program, and Beyond the Classroom & CIVICUS Living and Learning Programs.
