Hailing from Knoxville, Tennessee, Kaitlyn will receive a B.A. in International Relations with a minor in Japanese and a B.S. in Global Studies from Middle Tennessee State University in 2013. She spent two semesters studying abroad in Japan where she took classes on East Asian politics and culture. Currently, she is a participant of the Washington Center’s International Affairs Program focusing on Sino-American relations.
