Enya Gonzalez Guitart is a Global Studies major at the University of Chicago, pursuing a joint MA degree in International Relations. Her interests include human rights and immigration issues, particularly in Latin America, and their impact on global security.

This spring, Enya had the opportunity to visit Cuba to gain insight on the developing US-Cuban relations through the University of Chicago’s Institute of Politics. On campus, she is involved with the Institute of Politics’ Civic Engagement programs. She is fluent in Spanish.
