Carl, a native of Nashville TN, recently received a B.A. in Economics from Washington and Lee University. As an undergraduate he also pursued coursework in geology focusing his research on natural resource economics, and economic geology.
Carl also served as a Bio-Intensive Agriculture volunteer with Global Service Corps in Tanzania’s Arusha Region. During that time, he educated rural farmers in cultivation techniques aimed at reducing their outside resource dependence and environmental impact. He will pursue a M.S. in Energy and Earth Resources from the University of Texas in the fall.
