Expertise: China Policy and Strategic Competition, International Security Studies
Josey Walden is a senior at Georgetown University’s School of Foreign Service, majoring in International Politics with a concentration in Security Studies. She is also pursuing minors in Chinese and Economics and holds declared proficiency in Spanish. Her academic work focuses on U.S.-China relations, particularly in the areas of economic and artificial intelligence policy.
Outside of school, Josey tutors elementary students in Washington D.C., in Chinese and Spanish. Through her work, she aims to inspire early interest in foreign language study and global engagement.
