Will Herter is currently Managing Director at Pax Mondial LLC, responsible for the delivery of risk management and operational support services to clients around the world.  His main focus is US government clients working in Afghanistan and Pakistan, the Middle East and North Africa, and Sub-Saharan Africa. Will is intimately involved in helping clients understand the business risks (economic, integrity, political  security, and social) they may face in their respective markets and how to develop appropriate strategies to mitigate those factors to achieve their programmatic objectives.

Prior to Pax Mondial, Will worked as a Senior Business Risk Management Consultant at Control Risks in Mexico City.  Earlier in his career, he managed programs for an IT and Engineering services firm that supported US Department of Defense, NASA, and Intelligence Community programs.

Will completed his Masters of Arts Degree in International Relations and International Economics at the Johns Hopkins University Paul H Nitze School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS). During his time at SAIS, he specifically focused on the international political economy to develop a deeper understanding of how economic, political and security forces shape international business and international relations. He also hold a Bachelors Degree in Economics from the University of Colorado at Boulder.
