Expertise: Quantitative analysis, defense industrial base

Robert Dwyer is a Ph.D. candidate at Princeton University specializing in the statistical analysis of large biological datasets. He’s interested in bringing a statistical approach to the analysis of federal procurement data, particularly defense contracts.

Through his research, he hopes to contribute to society’s understanding of the defense industrial base — and its impact on politics and U.S. national security strategy. He believes large-scale, quantitative analysis is essential to understanding the incentives of lawmakers, corporations, and defense agencies.
