Expertise: Science Policy, Energy, Nuclear Fusion, Climate Change, Biology, Chemistry, and Physics

William Furlow is a recent college graduate of the University of Texas at Tyler, where he majored in Biology. Before working at ASP, he worked at two research labs that are a part of the University of Texas system. These labs were at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Tyler and at the University of Texas at Tyler.

In 2014 he was a research fellow for the University of Texas system through the LSAMP research program, where he studied climate change and how the 2011 wildfires have affected certain Texas native species.

He has an extensive background in research and plans to use that knowledge in pursuit of a Juris Doctorate degree, concentrating in intellectual property in the near future.

He has been a candidate for numerous scholarships and leadership awards, as he is often seen talking to people about the importance of research and development investments now, so that future generations can reap the benefits.
