Nadia Cortez is a research and sustainable pathway professional with an acute ability to pinpoint incongruities within frameworks of international environmental policies. She is driven to identify strategic ways to inform the public about climate and energy issues to catalyze economic development that is compatible with the Earth’s atmosphere. Nadia has also conducted a study on the effects of global environmental policies on climate-vulnerable nations. Born into a military family, she has spent most of her childhood moving from region to region which has provided her with a foundation of resilience and determination. She holds a B.A. in International Studies from the University of South Florida and is currently obtaining her M.A. in Global Environmental Policy at American University.
