Katharyn Nicolle grew up in southern New Jersey. She is currently a junior at Dickinson College, majoring in International Studies with a concentration in Security Studies. She recently returned from Bologna, Italy after spending four months studying European political and economic integration. She took a year off from school between her second and third year of college when she was crowned Miss New Jersey 2011. As Miss NJ, she traveled her state promoting children’s literacy and acting as a state representative for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals, as well as representing New Jersey at the Miss America Pageant in 2012.
