Expertise: Climate Security, Environmental Governance, Development, Human Rights, Western Africa, and Southeast Asia

Holly Sarkissian is a master’s candidate in Global Policy Studies at the University of Texas, Austin LBJ School. She focuses on Environmental and Climate Security. She has extensive experience working for international NGOs, managing projects to promote global peace and security, justice, sustainable development, rule of law and human rights. She has worked with organizations including the NYU Center on International Cooperation, Parliamentarians for Global Action and Kiva. She is interested in global and national strategies to advance climate security, adaption, and mitigation and to protect vulnerable populations.
