Neena Kapur is currently a Cyber Threat Intelligence Analyst at Booz Allen Hamilton, where she conducts research and analysis on tools, tactics, and threat actors in the cyber realm. Her focus is specifically on cybercriminal activity in the retail and financial sector, as well as cyber threats in South and East Asia. In 2015, Neena graduated from Tufts University with a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations, specializing in International Security, and a Minor in Computer Science.

In addition to her private sector experience, Neena also has experience working in the federal government at Department of Defense and the Department of State. At the DoD, she worked on data management for weapons acquisition programs, specifically focusing on processes behind analyzing, accessing, and submitting weapons acquisition data. At DoS, she rebuilt and designed the State Department’s internal blogging website and organized the inaugural Women in Technology and Innovation panel for State Department employees.

Neena has also spent time abroad studying Japanese through the Kyoto Consortium for Japanese Studies at Doshisha University in Kyoto, Japan. Neena currently holds a CompTIA Security + certification and is proficient in several programming languages.

Neena actively uses her academic background and professional experience to look at cyber issues through an interdisciplinary lens, focusing on the intersection of technology, security, and international policy.
