The Flash Point Blog is published by the American Security Project to spark debate on national security issues. We strive to examine issues important to U.S. national security from a post-partisan perspective, meaning we try to break through the spin to find ideas we can use to encourage fresh thinking and build genuine consensus. That also means that we give kudos when they're earned and challenge ideas when they're questionable, no matter who's involved.
Our authors include American Security Project fellows and staff and occasional guest contributors. We invite you to read and comment. We also encourage submissions on any of our issues.
