Senator Mitchell is Partner and Chairman of the Global Board of DLA Piper, Rudnick, Gray, Cary. He is also Co-Chair of the Task Force on the United Nations; Chair of the International Crisis Group; and Chair of the Walt Disney Company. Senator Mitchell served the State of Maine in the U.S. Senate from 1980 to 1995, during which time he acted as Senate Majority Leader from 1989 to 1995. He is also the former Chairman of the Peace Negotiations in Northern Ireland and has chaired the Ethics Committee of the U.S. Olympic Committee.
